Marlborough Frugal Flip

This was a house one of my clients flipped doing most of the labor himself with my design & staging help. He had a very limited budget (as flips usually do) and the neighborhood he was flipping in didn’t call for luxury materials. We stuck to choosing materials that would work for a long term rental property. This flip definitely proved that you don’t have to spend a LOT of money for a good result. Even while working with lino (YES LINOLEUM!!!) I came up a GREAT looking design that sold the house quickly. The client also loves that more masculine “natural rock” look, so I found a great deal on slate tile and gave him exactly what he wanted. 🙂  I love doing flips! Because of all the savings in material and labour, this project ended up making him a nice little profit.
